Trusting a Care Giver.

My mother in law has had deteriorating health for the past couple of years. In the last couple of months she has accepted the fact that she needs someone to check on her everyday. She agreed to a professional caregiver and has had care five days a week. But a few days ago her jewelry, including 2 engagement rings and a diamond bracelet have come up missing. It seems suspicious, though the lady and the company have a good reputation.

Hard to Buy For

My wife is pretty hard to by special gifts because she is not one who likes diamond rings or fancy clothes or new gadgets. She is happier with some practical and useful item. She does not want to go to a spa or some expensive resort. She does like to travel, so sometimes we celebrate anniversaries or holidays visiting friends of seeing some place of interest. She is hard to buy for, but easy to please.

Diamond Rings

Did you ever meet a lady who was not fascinated by diamond rings? Most of the women I know love them and could never have enough of them. I do not know whether it is the beauty or the value of the rings that captivate them, may a bit of both. But my wife is an exception to that generality. She wears her wedding band, and it has diamonds, but she seldom wears more jewelry than that.
