Recently I have noticed a number of commercials promoting whole life insurance policies. Those are policies that build a cash value over a period of years and require payment only for a set number of years. The premiums on such policies are considerably higher that those for
term life insurance policies. If you buy term and invest the difference in the premiums, you will have more money in the account than you would on the whole life policy.
