Roy Oswalt went two innings in his spring training debut, throwing 36 pitches. Most of his pitches yesterday were fastballs. He gave up a walk and a hit, but no runs. I have no doubt that he will be ready for opening day and his first start. It is the rest of the starting rotation that worries me.

Astros pitching is pretty terrible. I can't name a starting pitcher they have right now besides Roy but they're still probably better than Clemens would be now.
I think Roger is through for good now. I just hope Backe and Wandy can be consistent & give us a chance to win!
