This scenario is getting more than just aggravating. The Houston Astros closer has once again blown a save against the St Louis Cardinals. The 'Stros had scored two runs in the ninth inning to take a 3-1 lead. Ldge came into the game to save it and help the Astros win the series 3-1. But he did not retire anyone! Cairo, got a single, Ludwick walked, Pujols got a pinch single to make the score 3-2, then Ankiel got a two run triple (on a ball that should have been played by Berkman at first) and the game was over!
