Fortieth Anniversary Trip!

My wife and I are about to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We are trying to decide what destination we want for our celebration. We want to go somewhere we have not been before. We love warm weather so we want some place near the beach. We have been investigating the possibilities of vacation rentals by owner. That appeals to us as it means it will not be just a cookie cutter tour! Plus we would have more privacy than if we were to stay in a hotel or resort. Taking our time and doing our own thing means a lot more to us these days than any other part of a vacation. In more ways than one, it would be a vacation by owner!
